Azienda Agricola Maggi Francesco was founded around the 1940s in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese, a territory where vine growing is deeply rooted in local culture and history. Today, Oltrepò Pavese is considered one of Italy’s most fascinating agricultural regions and, thanks to the commitment of producers such as Azienda Agricola Maggi Francesco, it continues to grow in prestige, importance, and recognition. At the center of this territory lies Canneto Pavese, where vine cultivation for winemaking has been a tradition for centuries. Here, across approximately 500 hectares of vineyards, red grape varieties dominate, while white grape varieties are cultivated in the higher hillside areas.
