Contino Gran Reserva 2018 is a great red from the D.O.Ca. Rioja, born from a predominance of Tempranillo with additions of Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha that broaden its complexity and tension. On the nose it expresses ripe cherry and plum, notes of sweet spices, tobacco, leather and balsamic nuances, with hints of vanilla and toast from aging. On the palate it is full and structured, with dense and well-integrated tannins, lively acidity and a long, harmonious finish on dark fruit, spices and hints of cocoa.
